Custom Segments changing the data when seen side by side

Hi, I just set up a segment named "US Organic Traffic" with 2 elements only:

  • Medium exactly matches organic
  • Location contains United States (I've tried the exact matches as well)

When I switch between the standardized "Organic Traffic" and "US Organic Traffic" I have X and Y amount of sessions for global and just for US as expected.

The strange thing is when I put these segments side by side, X and Y change. (See screenshots below for visuals) Although not that big of a difference, why would the Organic Traffic number of sections change just because I have the US filter next to it? I'm not sure which data to select.

Any feedback would be very helpful - many thanks.

See that yellow box in your report where you have both segments? It means that that report is sampled while your earlier reports with just one segment are not. Hence the difference. If you take just one day you might get unsampled reports in all 3 cases
