Custom Funnels and Sequences

Hi - I was hoping someone could explain the logic behind the Custom Reports>Custom Funnels. In particular the 'Immediately Followed by' rule.

Here's a simple login example - Login 1>Login2>Login Success.

First image is closed funnel, session based, Subsequent stage should follow At any time after a stage:

sessions any time.PNG

Here we've set the first stage (Login 1) to be Immediately Followed by Login 2 (Login success is any time after):

login1 immediately followed.PNG

Next we've set Login 2 to be Immediately Followed by Login Success (Login 1 to Login 2 is any time after):

login2 immediately followed.PNG

Finally, all stages are set to Immediately Followed:

 login all immediately.PNG

As you can see a severe drop off in Login Success. What's going on when all stages are set to immediately followed? When the steps are individually configured to be immediately after the numbers remain relatively similar.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

Hi @David L :-)

Custom funnels are not available in GA standard (the free version).

Not sure if the following page is of any help to you (you may have already seen/read it)

if not, then you may want to reach out to your GA 360 account support

Thanks
