Custom Alerts Disappeared / Not Working Correctly

I've setup a number of GA alerts with them set to notify my email (which is different to the GA admin email). 

1 of the alerts was for when transactions are 0, and this is set as Daily. I've received alerts for a number of GA views where there have been transactions on a daily basis. Could the alert be triggered because 24 hours had elapsed between the transactions? Otherwise I don't know why the alert would have been sent out.

Also, after reviewing within GA it seems that the above alert has disappeared from my account. Is there any way to check this (alerts don't seem to be mentioned in the GA Change History)? 
If I set up the alert within 1 account, and then applied it to many other views, shouldn't the alert be visible from the View (admin) level, within the Custom Alerts section?..
