Create consolidated report on multiple websites

Hello,

We are using Google Analytics Standard version. Don't have a premium account. We have about 10 websites and are trying to build reports across these websites. Is there a way to build these reports on the Google Analytics interface itself? One option we are considering is to download the data from each site and build a report outside the Google Analytics environment.

Please let me know any ideas / suggestions.

Thanks,
Magesh

Hi Magesh,

You're correct, the rollup reporting feature is only available for Premium users.

There is a workaround though to mimic this feature in a standard account. You could create a new Property and use the tracking id from that property on all your sites. Essentially every site will be tagged twice: once with their individual GA property and once with this new aggregate GA property.

A few things to note if you decide to implement this:
- your sites will need to be configured to work with multiple trackers
and
- you will need to configure cross domain tracking

Alternatively, as you mentioned you could do this rollup reporting outside of the GA interface. The GA Google Sheets Add-On would definitely be of help if you divide to go this route.

All the best!

Jennifer - Thanks a lot for the quick and detailed reply.

We are not considering making changes to our websites. And not considering GA Premium either. So, external reporting is the solution.
GA Standard reporting UI, Google Sheets + Add On both have limitations on number of rows and the number of dimensions/metrics.
Trying to see if GA Java API can solve this issue.

Any ideas with this?

Thanks,
