Create a Goal for clicking any external link

I want to create a goal that tracks when users click an external link on any page that is after health-resources/.  For example, I want google analytics to say that my goal was met when a user visited health-resources/livestock-diseseases and clicked on an external link.

How do I set a goal like this?

Hi Abbey,

First you need to fire an analytics event when the external link is clicked. Please see the document below about setting it up:

Once you set up event tracking you need to set up an event based goal. Go to Admin -> View -> Goals -> New goal, select "Custom" and "Event" on the next screen. On the next screen type "outbound" into the category field and "click" into the action field (we set these values in the first step). Save your goal, no further settings are required.

Let me know if you have questions.
