Confirming double count issue

Afternoon,

We unfortunately have been using both the Universal Analytics version and the Asynchronous (classic) version of the Google Analytics tracking code are on a single web page - with the same Account ID.

This is being fixed (with the classic version removed) however could you please confirm that the impact of this has been that the three metrics of ‘pageviews’, ‘bounce rate’ and ‘average time on page’ are double-counted?

Thanks

Hi Taryn - unfortunately most of your behaviour metrics are skewed - pages per session (doubled) / bounce rate (should be close to 0) / pageviews (doubled) and similar.

Kind regards,
