Combination of hit level dimension with session level metric

I created the following custom report:

Type: Flat Table

Dimension: Page Title

Metrics: Sessions, Bounce Rate

Filter: Landing Page regex /article.*

I expected to see multiple rows for a session with multiple page views, since "Page Title" is hit level. But it seems that such a session produces only one row. The "Page Title" of this row is set to the page title of the landing page. Is that correct?

More generally: If the dimension of a custom report is hit level and the metrics are session level, does a session with multiple page views produce one or multiple rows? If one, how are the possibly different values of the hit level-dimension combined to one value?
