Campaign timeout issue in universal analytics
Event tracking happens after campaign timeout. I have set campaign timeout to one minute and then I accessed my website from a referral site after 10 minutes. As per my understanding the event tracking should not be tracked in the dashboard. But event tracking happens after campaign timeout. Can anyone provide a reference to campaign timeout and event tracking after campaign timeout. Thanks.

The campaign timeout period determines how long a particular campaign or traffic source is associated with a unique user.
Note: Existing campaign or traffic source data for a particular user will be overwritten by new campaign or traffic source data, regardless of the configured timeout period.
The Campaign time out does not mean that additional data will not be collected for that campaign after the time out period. Data will continue to be collected.
