Bounce Rate reduced by 83% in last 2 days. Reporting Error??

Hello,

Over the last 2 days my bounce rate has fallen off a cliff. It was around 37% across the board but since the 14th March bounce rate has reduced to 6%. This in usual circumstances would be great news but i haven't done anything to the site to cause this bounce rate drop, so i am thinking this is a reporting error.

To my knowledge the only thing that was added to the site in last few days was dynamic remmarkerting via GTM so i cant see how that could be inteferring. Unless our users love our pages all of a suddden and are not bouncing anymore but i doubt this is the case.

I am thinking this is a reporting error. Has anyone else seen similar issue?

apart from your normal pageview sent to : UA-15391600-3

there is an event firing:

  1. ec:
    page
  2. ea:
    visit
  3. el:
    home

So the bounce rate has reduced, which is not correct.

You can use 'GA debugger' extension in chrome.

Thanks for the reply.

Yes correct there is event firing so cancelling out the bounce. I have GTM tag with interaction set to False which i think needs to be changed to True.

Thanks got your help!
