Audience, Geo, Location REPORT

I am getting some information on my GA account that does not make sense to me. When I see the Location report I see a total number of sessions for a specific period. However, when I filter by City I see the total number of sessions is 20% lower when it should be the same! Is there any reason for it?

By your post, I'm not quite sure what you are seeing. If you are looking at a state and then drilling in and the totals don't match, it's possible that there some cities that are "not set" and are not displayed in the report; hence, different totals.
