Analytics API delayed data

I'm using the googleapis node module to pull report data from Google Analytics AP v3.

When I request data with the dimension ga:hour I do not get data for to day until 8 o'clock

After 8 o'clock I get the last 7 hours.

Why is this the case?

I thought if my timezone is wrong I should get for my first request of the day only one hour?
And if my timezone is correct than I should get data already before 8 o'clock?

Thanks for any help on this.

In my experience this is what happens - you cannot rely on anything to be accurate in GA until 24/48 hours later.

Thanks for the response.

I would still love a kind of official response from the Google Analytics Team.

Maybe this is a timezone issue on their side somehow like
"You can not get data for your timezone today until our servers in our timezone are in the same day" or something

True, I don't know that but interested in the answer if someone has it.
