"Social" in the Channel report disappear in the Medium report

Hi all

"Social" in the Channel report  disappears in the Medium report in my Google Analytics. As you can see in the two images below, "social" and "referrer" in the Default Channel Grouping Report are combined into one medium "referrer" in the Medium Report. "Social" is missing from the Medium report.

Is there any way to fix it?

Thank you in advance.

Jing

Hi Jing,

How you've defined your Default Channel Grouping? (do you have default settings or not?)

What's does the source / medium report show?

Looking forward to hearing from you.
Taavi

Have you modified your Default Channel Grouping?

Seems like referral data appears under Social Channel. What's the source of this referral traffic? If this source / medium matches your Social Channel settings, that's the reason. Please take a look at your Default Channel Groupings to figure out what's the exact reason.
