Our website is hit by referral spams regularly. As a result the average bounce rate gets up regularly.

Is there any permanent solution to restrict referral spam from effecting analytics report apart from filtering them out and segmenting our reports?

Does the increase in bounce rate due to referral spam effects the ranking of the page.

The spam you see in GA does not affect your rankings in any way.

Bounce rate is a measure in GA, and also has no direct effect on your rankings. It is an indicator, and the indicator can be corrupted by the spam.

What affects your rankings is if real visitors come from search and bounce back to search...which if you had no spam, you could get an idea of how often that was happening in GA by looking at the bounce rate for organic search visits.

Filtering and segments is the only current solution.
