Referral Traffic error

I think i found bug in the Referral traffic report.
So...
I have two sites: http://www.arbitrageguides.com/ and https://www.oddstorm.com/

In the home page of OddStorm I have a link to Arbitrage Guides to download the software: http://prntscr.com/ek7gop

Here is a screenshot of the "Referral Traffic" of Arbitrage Guides: http://prntscr.com/ek7h6a from which it says I have only 16 sessions from OddStorm.

Here is a screenshot of the Landing Page which OddStorm sends people to download the software: http://prntscr.com/ek7i18 where it says the Sessions are 798

Here is a screenshot of the source for the same Landing Page : http://prntscr.com/ek7ib0 which says only 9 Sessions from the total 798 are from OddStorm which is not true because OddStorm is the main place on internet which points to this page. It seems like it pointing this traffic as "direct" instead of "oddstorm.com".

Please tell me if I am wrong.. Before Google Analytics updates in February everything was ok and the traffic from OddStorm was always more than 700 Sessions per 30 days, now it says 18 sessions which is impossible.

Please help me!

Hi :-)
This was answered on G+
Will post my response here for other incase it is helpful to someone else too

https to http will be tracked.. but it will be tracked as direct/none as the source/medium.
https does not pass referrer info to http by default.

Long read but worth the time
