Referral Exclusion List not excluding domains correctly?
We're running a site that uses a third party payment platform (similar to Paypal), I've added the domain to the REL yesterday and but I'm still seeing referrals (fewer, but they are still there) from the site.
The payment platform is in the format of mybusiness.platform.com and I've excluded the full URL. Can anyone shed light on why these referrals are still showing up?

Returning visitors who have the payment processor as their referrer will still have it set when they return as direct until they reach the campaign timeout set in Admin -> Property -> Tracking Info -> Session settings.
You only need to add platform.com to the referral exclusion list.
Hope this explains why do you still see them.

The number showing as being a referral from the 3rd party site will grow smaller over time.
Visitors that are cookied as already having been referred from there will remain as such until they come back via a different source,
or they clear their cookies.
The REL will fix the issue for new converting visitors going forward
