Hi,

Does anyone knows how to avoid this spam (I think its Russian).

I've filter around 14 sites that I found but this one specifically still alive.

Hi Gad,

Creating a filter for each spammer is inefficient since they are constantly changing the name, so you will need to update your filters often. (most of the spam has a lifespan of around two weeks)

Another characteristic is that the data left by ghost spam is fake (the source, the hostname, the metrics, etc.) so a better approach is to create a filter that will only allow traffic from real hostnames, that way all fake traffic will be automatically excluded.

You can find more information and detailed instructions to apply this solution on this guide

Hope it helps,

Carlos
