GA segments are not working.

I'm using a GA segment to exclude a self-referral issue for historical data. I am using the correct domain which needs excluding however when applied the self-referral stays there. This is the same regardless of whether try to exclude the source or referral path.

Thanks,

Louise

Hi,

source is the way to go... Do you see auto complete suggestions when you type first letters of your domain?
You could also try changing Exactly matching to Contains...

Hey,

Yes I have tried using the auto complete along with typing it myself. I have also tried it with the Contains and Regex though neither of these have worked.

It's left me rather stumped and I'm not sure if there might be something with Google not allowing you to block self-referrals using a segment?

It is a referral source among others, no limitations should apply.

I tested this with live account and it seems to be working...

What exactly did you enter there? just the domain.com or something else?
