Different channels conversion is attributing to referral automatically

Hi All,

I've recently switched all of my website from HTTP to HTTPS, and after that all of channels (traffic type) is attributing to REFERRAL only - though session is correct but all the transactions and revenue is attributing to REFERRAL. Also, I've already changed the GA configuration from VIEW SETTINGS option by selecting HTTPS instead of HTTP. Could you please let me know the way to attribute revenue/transaction to a correct traffic type? and what I believe that if I use REFERRAL exclusion list then all the revenue/transaction will attribute to DIRECT only not to the original channels like paid/organic and etc. - is that so?

Let me know if you need more information on this, thanks.

Thanks,

Manish

Hi Manish,

Are you maintaining two versions of your site? A HTTP version and a HTTPS version?  If so, perhaps the HTTP version is attributing to Referral.

Regards,

Mike
