How many filters do I need to stop the Russian hack in GA? Numbers are becoming meaningless! A "RA" language hack was found this morning.

Geez, can't google stop this?

Hi @Molly F, most of the sites should be able to control the spam with 3 or 4 filters.

  • A hostname filter that will take of most of the spam
  • And a couple of crawler filters that should take care of the sneaky ones.

This detailed guide should help you create them.

Hope it helps,
