"Add filter to View" page is displaying different content on some profiles

Hello.

 

I have some profiles, with views, that I am trying to add filters to through Admin>View>Filters>Add Filter. However, unlike the majority of my profiles, where I see a page that looks like the following:

 

Instead the page looks like this:

 

Does anybody know why this is, and how I can get these views to display the former page instead?

Yes, links worked. 

Are you an admin with full access for those profiles/views? It appears you do not have sufficient access privileges to create filters @Tom N.

 

Quote from GA help:

"Users who have Edit permission at the account level can:

  • Create/edit filters at the account level
  • Create/edit filters at the view level
  • Apply filters to any view in the account

Users who have Edit permission at the view level can:

  • Apply existing filters to or remove them from that view, but cannot create new filters or edit existing filters"

Thank you for this information! I had already checked with my administrator who insisted I had nothing wrong with my permissions. This has been driving me crazy! I'll try and get permissions sorted and Accept your solution as soon as possible Smiley Happy
