Hi there,

I need help to solve - "We are using filtered and unfiltered view but in unfiltered view also the user count is inappropriate "

We just checked in even for the single date range the count is different for eg (for july 10 - the user count is inappropriate for unfiltered view . I know user count calculation is complication in GA

Any help on this much appreciated

Thanks.

Cheers

Hi Srini,

On what basis do you make the statement that the user count is inappropriate in the unfiltered view?

GA, properly deployed on each page of the site will consistently use the same methodology to determine the user count and; therefore, give you an appropriate count of users. This will; however, always be different from any other method such as log parsing or even other tag based analytics platforms.
