Hi guys,

I'm going to count users initiated at least one session with pagevew that differs from some particular page, e.g. "/pageX" . I would like to do it using Custom Report with Page Filter and Users metric. Filter configuration is  Exclude-Page-Exact-"/pageX":

CustRep filter 2 forum.jpg

In dimension/metrics table of the report I see: Users=604, % of Total:109.03%, (554) .

Users metric under Page filter is wrong.jpg

The correct value of users that I'm looking for is 156.

Why user count is wrong and how is it possible that Users without any filters is less than Users after filtering ?

It seems that something wrong with my GA implementation

Best,

Dmitry

Hi Dimitry,

Is this in a UserID view are you getting sampling?  Regardless, since it doesn't look like you have a page dimension; you may want to try to apply a segment that excludes users or sessions in which the page is present.
