Greetings  Everyone,

Today i saw this Users (Deprecated) in Intelligent Events, searched in forums and Google could not get then exact answer, can some tell me what this exactly means.

Is there anything wrong with the code implementation, or changes made from google with the users count deprecated.

Dear @Ramana T

While searching for the same found out this from old google forums:

@AnalyticsEdge said:
Yeah...Google did a silly thing. They deprecated the old Visitors metrics in favour of the new User metric, but at the same time, they renamed the old Visitors metric to Users, so they had to call it Users (Deprecated).

In the API, they would be the deprecated ga:visitors and the new ga:users. Heck of a lot clearer.

They did the same with all the other 'visitor' and 'visits' metrics and dimensions as well....User Type, Count of Sessions, etc.!msg/analytics/GCcbf7z_aq4/Vi44R6En87UJ

Hope that helps!
