UTM Url problem

Visitor ✭ ✭ ✭

I have a link on Facebook that include the the group name

like this

www.mydomain.com?UTM_source=groupname

but when test it, I can't see group name on google analytics

either it appears (Facebook) or Not set

what I'm missing?

I know that facebook doesn't send group data, but my link already include the group name, so it is not a problem of facebook

Hi,

change it to:
www.mydomain.com/?utm_source=groupname&utm_medium=something

For starters lowercase the query parameters and define source and medium (at least that). A better approach would be to tag the link for example (as channel grouping would be easier to maintain):
www.mydomain.com/?utm_source=facebook&utm_medium=post&utm_campaign=groupname

Kind regards,
