URL Rewrite Issue

Hey GA team,

I'm at my first day on the job at a new company and I ran into an issue with a URL rewrite in analytics.  There is a filter appending a slash before each URL which is annoying and then both the www. and non-www. versions are appearing separately.

So in the landing page report I have data for both

/mydomain.com

When both are the same URL.  I know I can delete this filter and implement a redirect going forward, but is there anyway to handle things retroactively?

Hey Taylor,

No. Once data is processed by GA, it's never touched again. If it's mission critical you could build a correction in a new UI via the API (I'm chuckling at how ludicrous that sounds). Or you could just correct and handle your data presentation in an external platform like Tableau, Excel, etc.

Good luck!
