Reports missing returning visitor data

Have I accidentally applied a filter?  I am running a monthly report for a new account and can only see data for new visits not return visits. Have I applied a filter in error? I can't figure out how to do this - or undo it if I have. Any help massively appreciated  - thanks!

Hi Rachel,

Is it possible you have had no return visitors?  When you go to Audience >> Overview what do you see for % new sessions?  Have you applied a segment?

Try going to another report like Audience>>Mobile>> Overview and adding in "User Type" as a secondary dimension.  Anything for returning?

Hope that helps!

Thanks Theo,

I am throroughly confused now, I think I must have applied a segment (maybe
using a short cut key as I can't see where I did it).

My users have gone from hundreds to just 2...

Thanks for the heads up about the secondary dimension I will look at that
now.

Rachel
