Redundant URLs in search console report in GA

Hey folks,

First time poster here, so thank you in advance for your replies.  We're using a filter to "inject" the hostname and www subdomain into all of our page reports in GA.  When I checked the search console report, I noticed that the appropriate filter injection is occurring, but search console also adds the entire URL with the root domain.  Any recommendations on how I can fix this?

Thanks!redundant.JPG

http://www.mogoartsmarketing.com and http://mogoartsmarketing.com do both redirect to https://www.mogoartsmarketing.com

Sometimes entering a default page setting when its uneeded can lead to issues such as this.

Does the issue also occur in the Behaviour > Site Content > All Pages report?

If not, then it may solely come down to an issue with Search Console configuration as this data is not tracked by GA but imported in from Search Console.

Hi Bronwyn,

So a default page has not been added to the view I'm looking at, and I see the redundancy showing up in the content pages report as well.  But, I think I found the issue.  It looks like identical two filters were created to add the hostname and both were active.  I've since removed the second identical filter.

Thanks!
