Problem with metric and table representation

I'm new to GA, sorry if this question is trivial.

I'm creating a widget that basically display the number of unique events corresponding to a event label value. I display this widget alternatively with the metric view and the table view (I'm sure the table view display all the entries within a dimension (page))

If I manually add the unique event count of my dimension displayed in the table view, it doesn't match the value I get through the metric view.

In my table view I have 5 lines:  5049+4484+3103+1003+3 = 13'642 event count

In the metric view the value is 13'571 event count

What do I do wrong?

Thank you in advance for your help

Hi Jean-Christophe,

I believe this is due to sampling as this does not happen with Google Analytics premium accounts

Please see my last post on this https://www.en.advertisercommunity.com/t5/Reports/Unique-Events-Total-not-adding-up-to-the-sum-of-in...

Hope this helps

Hi Bryan,

Thank you very much for your help. I'm still not sure I understood everything but I will try to understand a little bit better how our events are labelled.

Best Regards,
JC
