Our filters stopped working

All of a sudden our filter to exclude internal IP addresses stopped working. We believe that it might have something to do with us implementing Google tag manager (although we are not sure).

How can we make the filters work again?

We have tried to change between "starting with", "containing" etc. but that does not work.

We currently have three filters to exclude 2 internal subnets and one public subnet. We also keep a nonfilter view for comparison, wich shows that none of the filters we have activated works.

Has anyone experienced the same or have any suggestion of what we can do to solve this?

Hi Sandra,

1) can you post a screenshot of how the GTM pageview tag is set? In specific are you using the anonymizeIp fields to set?
2) can you post a screenshot of how the view filter is set to compare the actual Ips and the filter settings?

Kind regards,

Hi Sandra -- It is possible that GTM with the GA code within it is not setup properly, you may be missing the GA code on various pages (if you are hardcoding the GA code rather than using GTM), OR, this is always possible, your IP address has changed. ISPs will sometimes change a business' IP address block for whatever reason.
