Merging new event category into old one.

I recently found out that an event on my contact form had a wrong/misleading event category associated with it. I got the mistake resolved but the old event category already has data associated with it.

I was wondering if I could overwrite the previous event category with the new one.

Any help would be appreciated Smiley Happy

Hi Vipul,

Unfortunately, once the data has been processed it cannot be re-processed. What you can do is create a report outside of GA in Google Sheets or Excel and use the =REPLACE() formula to make historic reports cleaner.
