Hi all .

 

I am new to analytics and need your help . I am trying to exclude traffic  from two different  Ips  one is my office ip second one is home ip . I want to exclude traffic from both Ip via single filter

hi gourav,
is quite easy with regular expression
you write something like
[ip1]|[ip2]

example:

192\.3\.2\.2|198\.3\.2\.2

Hi Guarav,
to exclude ip address you have to apply a filter at view level (not a reporting level)
Here a guide on how to apply filter to view level
https://support.google.com/analytics/answer/1034823?hl=en

You need to create a custom one if you want to exclude both with a single filter (personally I would prefer to create 2 different filter so in the future I can update them easily) where you exclude the 2 ip filter using a regular expression

Actually i use to open my website more then 100 time from my home and in office me and my employ use to open it same number of time so what i want the traffic generated by me , should be exclude . I know how to bundle multiple ip which are same network but dont know how to exclude multiple ip via same filter . Most impotently I dont want to update my filter in future .
