How to remove visitors with location (not set) from analytics results?

Hi,

I've done some Google searching and didn't find a clear way to do this. If anyone has a solution for me please share :

I'm trying to remove people with a location (not set). They are clearly bot results with the page view lasting only 1 second and an obvious spike of multiple users doing this. If anyone knows how to filter these results out, or a link that explains how to I would appreciate it!

Thanks,

Valerie

Hi Valerie,
You can use Filter option in View. I will suggest you to create a new view and filter your location traffic.

Admin>View>Filter>Custom>Exclude>Filter Field (Town/City)

In filter pattern put (not set)

This will help you to exclude your not set traffic from analytics report.

Thanks
Vivek
