Question: Might be impossible, but still going to ask. How to filter around 1,200 people out of reports?

Our company is a B2B and has 1,200 employees. That's a lot of noise to filter through on GA when our employees go home and browse the site, and their family browses the site too. So we just filter out traffic from the whole city and assume it does not exist. We have clients from all over the country and the world, but we also have clients in town. Is there an effective way to get meaningful reports in our town? Is there a way to filter most of the noise?

Thanks.

Answer:

I'm assuming clients have some kind of registration/login too?

If so, why not use a custom dimension to instead identify the clients and then create a View with a filter to only include client traffic?
