How to Strip custom tags from url ?

Hello guys,

 
i'm wondering how can I use more url tags besides the standards UTM's and get analytics to read them right.
 
Right now i'm using the the following link:
 
 
What happens in analytics is that on Behavior the page shows like /page1/?lead_source=AdWrords and /page1/?lead_source=Facebook
you can see in the image:

 

Now theres anyway I remove the ?lead_source on analytics, or that tell him that if the page is the same it wont have to split the result?

Hi Luis,

 

Go into Admin>> view settings  and add lead_source to "Exclude URL Query Parameters "

Edit:  Also utm_medium is required... more on custom campaigns here:

... and @Bronwyn V gave you some good advice if your intent is to use other parameters like from Core Metrics, for example, or your own and write them to what GA is expecting.
