Hello!

I really hope you can help me with an obstacle.

Im polluting my data on GA  with my phone on the 3G mobile network. Is there a way to exclude some mobile traffic in the filter settings?

Thanks for the help!

The best way of excluding yourself is to visit a unique page where you set a user-level custom dimension.

That page would need the following tracking code:

<script>
(function(i,s,o,g,r,a,m){i['GoogleAnalyticsObject']=r;i[r]=i[r]||function(){
(i[r].q=i[r].q||[]).push(arguments)},i[r].l=1*new Date();a=s.createElement(o),
m=s.getElementsByTagName(o)[0];a.async=1;a.src=g;m.parentNode.insertBefore(a,m)
})(window,document,'script','https://www.google-analytics.com/analytics.js','ga');
ga('create', 'UA-123456789-1', 'auto');
ga('send', 'pageview', {dimension1:"thisisme"});
</script>

From there you can go to your GA admin and:

-in your property, create a custom dimension

-in your view, add a filter to exclude that dimension
