Have no raw views of established company - only a filtered view.

Is it possible to create a RAW/Unfiltered view of a company and have it be retroactive?

Or will the new unfiltered view ONLY begin on the day the view was created?

I recently took a job at a company and they have no unfiltered - raw view of their data.

When they created their Google Analytics account - they then began filtering it.
While I am no GA expert - I do understand that a Raw view should always be kept.

Is it too late? Or should I go ahead and create one?

Thanks~!

Hi,

All GA configurations work moving forward, they don't work on retroactive data.

Once the GA reports are processed they can't be changed.

It is too late. It is never too late to create a new one -- it won't help you now, but it will later.
