Filtered IP Not Showing Site Conversions

We have a filter that excludes both of our main IP addresses.

We have done this so our high volume of site access will not affect our statistics.

The Problem:

Occ. a customer calls and wants us to take their order by phone.

These orders do not show up in our filtered view.

Any help/suggestions would be appreciated.

Don't use a filter. Use Google Tag Manager. LunaMetrics has a good primer here: http://www.lunametrics.com/blog/2014/03/11/goodbye-to-exclude-filters-google-analytics/

To add back your customer phone order, you would simply need to create a new firing rule - say, based on a cookie you could set from a "manual order start" page - that would fire a different google analytics tag set up just for order takers.
