Filter problem

Hi,

When I create a filter for "landing page" = www.myhomepage.com/ it doesen´t match the statistics I see in under direct traffic for www.myhomepage.com without the filter. The discrepancy is about 7%. What could be wrong here?

Hi Johan,

How are you creating the filter? Is this a view filter? a report filter?

That said, you have a trailing slash on one and not the other which could cause the discrepancy. Also, unless you are using a view filter to prepend your hostname (myhomepage.com in your example) then your pages reports normally only use the URI (that is an i after the UR) which is evertything after the hostname e.g. /, /products, etc.

Best,
