Hello guys,

I am working on a SaaS product. Users can visit the website (to inform themself about the product) or log in to use the service.

The user can scroll the website, the dashboard or the expert profiles.

I want to create a 3 Filters (all of them are currently not working).

1. Filter: Include Expert Profile Only

With this filter I want to track the user when he is logged in and scrolling the expert profiles.

So far the filter looks like this:

(translation: Predefined filter --> include subdirectory --> beginning with --> /expert/

2. Filter: Include Dashboard Only

Hi Julien,

You can create a custom include filter, choose the Request URI field and put ^/expert/|^/dashboard/ into the pattern field. Hope this helps.

Thank you very much for your quick response. Unfortunately this is not working. I created a custom include filter, choosed the Request URI field and entered ^/expert/|^/dashboard/ into the pattern field.

A quick screenshot to grasp an idea:

Could it be possible to solve this with Google Tag Manager instead of Google Analytics?

Or do you have an other idea to solve this issue?

Thanks a lot for your help! Smiley Happy

Hi Julien,

It works only for the data recorded from the moment of the implementation of the filter, so the historical data won't be changed.
When you verify the filter you should see how the filter changes your data.
You can use segments if you want to analyze subsets of historical data.
