Hi,

Is it possible to set up a custom filter on a view to include only transactions with revenue greater than zero? (My client wants to exclude free sample transactions)

Thanks for any suggestions.,

Hi Eamonn,

I created an advanced segment for you that you can use. Here you go: https://analytics.google.com/analytics/web/template?uid=4h3Ztsc-QXGqnSCLgAa9vA

It will exclude sessions with transactions if revenue equals zero.

Hope this helps.

Many thanks Kalvi.

Unfortunately, I need to create this incoming filter on the View, not a segment report. That's because I need to import the filtered Transactions (revenue>0) into Adwords.

Cheers, Eamonn

Thanks again Taavi, but as far as I can see, view filters don't include that option Smiley Sad

Hi @Bluelake,

maybe I missed the point, but it should be possible if enhanced ecommerce tracking is enabled and correctly implemented.

Setup a custom filter on the desired view and exclude the transactions via "Ecommerce Intem Code" or "Ecommerce Intem Name".

Thanks David,

As there's no apparent revenue based filter, yes yours is the best solution.

Although as there are 100+ different free sample items to exclude,  I'll get the web developer to instead tag their "item variation" with "free sample".

Then we can utilise the custom filter, "E-commerce Item Variation".

Thanks for your advice.
