I have registered my 2 IP addresses on google analytics in the filters section and set them up under the custom filter like I have read to do but for some reason the results on google analytics don't seem to be excluding any data from these two IP addresses.

please help.

Hi Met M,

Can you describe (screenshots are best) how you configured your filters? You can mask the IP addresses themselves, but it would be helpful to see what your filters look like.

Hey Met, how are things?

Filters can take up to 24h to begin working, it's not a instant process.

Also, it's highly recommend that you keep on View unfiltered, so you can have a full view on things in case of any problem. So in that case you'd have:

  1. View Number 1 - no filters
  2. View Number 2 - IP filtered

Hope this helps.
