Exclude traffic coming by a specific campaign url

Hi folks,

I've been struggling to find a solution to a problem I face with Google Analytics, yet without finding any answers. I'm sure it's available somewhere but I'm also sure I can't ask it the proper way.

My boss launched a campaign using fiverr to create cheap traffic. Now we have more than 90% of our traffic coming by a specific url like http://oursite.com/en?utm_source=fiverr&utm_campaign=joe_taxi

It's not coming from a specific IP or even a town or state, just everywhere in the US. But without going deeper into it, it is purely fake.

So my question is : how can I take away this traffic from our data ?

Thank you a lot for your help,

David

Hi there David, you posted this to the wrong group, as this group is for Google My Business, not Analytics.

That said, this page might point you in the right direction.

Hi David,

Hope you are aware of the filters to include or exclude the traffic. In your situation you can't use the campaign name alone. Use the combination of campaign name and landing page to filter the traffic coming from above mentioned URL.

Hope this helps.

Hi David,

a custom view filter with exclude Campaign Name and filter pattern joe_taxi should do the job.
