Exclude URL Paramater

I have a URL that contains the following structure

http://blah.blah.com/page/index/32 character parameter

I want to filter the parameter out so i used this regex in the exclude query paramter filter for my view

/[A-Z0-9]{32}

But it doesnt seem to be working?

I have also tried to setup a conversion goal using one of the page/index as the goal measure but it doesnt recognise it/

Query parameters are the portions after the question mark in the URL:
http://blah.blah.com/page/index?parameter=value&parameter2=value2
where parameter and parameter are the query parameters.

If you are trying to drop that last 32 characters from the URL, you will need to create an advanced view filter to rewrite the URL (see search-and-replace filters https://support.google.com/analytics/answer/1034834?hl=en). Make sure you have an unfiltered view before you start playing around since you will lose data with no ability to recover it. Recommend you play around on a test view anyways.
