Enhanced Link Attribution in Google Tag Manager

Hi there, I'm still learning Google Tag Manager and have the basic tags/triggers set up for tracking on our site such as tracking downloads, external links, page views, etc.

However, I want to be able to enable the Enhanced Link Attribution feature, but with use of GTM it is advised that the UA code is removed from the site and the GTM container added to avoid double data being collected. If this is the case, how can I enable Enhanced Link Attribution?

Thank you!

Hi @Kappa Kappa Gamma F :-)
In the Tag Configuration

If you expand the More Settings section
There is a setting section Advanced Configuration.
If you expand it then there is an option to

enable Enhanced Link Attribution by changing it from False to True

Thanks

Bronwyn :-)

Thanks for the reply! However, I am not seeing the "more settings" option in the tag configuration window space in GTM. All I see is "new". And when I click "New" I just get "learn more". When I click to edit the tag configuration within the new tag I still don't see "More Settings".... can you help?
