Hello !

I tried to set up a filter to have a detailed version for browsers. With Internet Explorer I have a version that looks like: IE 8.0 while I would like to have a version of IE such as 8.0.XXXX.XXXXX. Is it possible to do this ? and How ?

Thanks

Hi Edouard,

No, you can't actually – whereas these detailed versions [1] are used internally, that what's given in the user-agent information transferred by the browser in a HTTP request only includes '8.0' [2]. And that's what Google Analytics and other web-analytics tools are able to see and report.
