Best way to filter search keyword / query string for my site search URLs

When a site search is done on my website it is generated with this URL:

http://www.mysite.com/search?search_paths%5B%5D=&query=test&submit=Go

With the bold being the actual query that was entered. Multiple words are returned as test+keyword. What would be the best way to configure a filter for these searches to keep them easy to analyze and not overwhelm my aggregate with messy URLs? Any insight greatly appreciated.

Hi Stratagem,

You can simply use query as your search parameter in the view settings and then add "search_paths..." and "submit" comma separated to the "exclude query paramaters" field; also in the view settings.

Best,
