utmz cookie being dropped when browsing around
This happens only on our mobile web account at www.diapers.com. We have seen a spike on direct traffic attribution during the last couple of months which it is not normal. After debugging, we found out that our utm campaign information is being dropped when we browse around the site, specifically, when we reach a /search url or when we go from a /search url into a /p/ type of url. Our Desktop sites use a doubleclick library for tracking which is working properly, while our mobile sites are using the google-analytics JS library. We believe there is something in the google-analytics js code that is failing to keep the utmz cookie when moving between urls of pattern /search and /p/ therefore creating duplicate session counts and direct attribution instead of the proper channel. Could you please advise? Thanks!
