iFrame Cross-Domain Tracking using ga.js via Google Tag Manager

I'm having issues trying to configure cross-domain tracking on an embedded Eventbrite iFrame. As the title suggests I'm using a legacy version of Google Analytics (ga.js) which has been deployed via Google Tag Manager. Any ideas? I came across this article but there must be an easier approach via Google Tag Manager: http://www.knewledge.com/en/blog/2013/11/cross-domain-tracking-for-iframes-with-gtm/

Hi Nathan,

by all means migrate to universal as soon as you can.

When you do try using this approach with postMessage - http://escapestudio.net/iframe-google-tag-manager-cross-domain-tracking-alternative/
