content specific traffic counting

I am wondering how I can implement a content specific traffic module that allows me to track (tally) unique visitors per content box from the time it has been deployed on the website. So if new content was constantly in and out of my website I want to be able to track how many visitors came during the lifespan of that content.

Hi Kyle,

Don’t quite understand what you mean, but if each content have unique pagepath you can see all pages report to view unique visitor to that page within a given timeframe.

Hope this helps

You can fire a virtual pageview for each of the content boxes (non-interaction so it won't mess up your metrics like bounce rate):
Just add a code snippet like below for the content elements you want to track and they will appear as pageviews in the reports:
ga('send', 'pageview', '/contentbox-name/', {'nonInteraction': true});
Let me know if you have questions.
