Wrong tracking code entered

Hi, I was asked to perform analytics on a website that had Google Analytics installed, but I realized the tracking code was not set up correctly.

In the tracking code, the tracking ID was set up as UX-accountnumber-2 instead of UA-accountnumber-2. The site is a support center using Zendesk and GA tracking can be easily added by manually entering the tracking ID, and in this case a typo was made.

I updated the tracking ID, so moving forward all should be good.

I was wondering if there's a way to access the past data that was being tracked as UX-accountnumber-2?

Thanks,

Andre

Hi Andre,

Unfortunately there is no way to retrieve past data, no data has been recorded because of the invalid web property ID.
